I've been photographing weddings for 10 years. I have to say, one thing I've come to LOVE are the "late in the season" weddings. They are so unique and magical, often sprinkled with sequins, fur stoles, twinkling lights, and stunning evergreen. The receptions have a cozy feel to them, and I've really come to look forward to my November, December, and January dates.
Tayla and Devin's absolutely beautiful wedding at Harrington Farm in Princeton was a perfect example of everything there is to love about late fall/winter celebrations. Tayla and Devin dressed for their big day inside the historic farm house on the Harrington Farm property. After their emotional first look, we took photos outside as the sun was setting. It was an unseasonably warm day in November here in Massachusetts. Rumor has it the bride and her bridesmaids buried a sausage the night before with hopes of bringing forth good weather. The tradition, believed to have roots in Germanic folklore, seemed to have done the trick and the forecasted rain stayed farm away from our idyllic location nestled on the slope of Wachusett Mountain.
The fantastic evening filled with dancing, holiday cheer, and even a coffee bar won't soon be forgotten by the energetic crowd of family and friends anytime soon.
Congratulations Tayla and Devin!!
