As a photographer that owns a studio AND lives right in Wilbraham, I can tell you that this lovely little town offers so many beautiful places to capture this exciting milestone. Wilbraham isn't just a great location for Minnechaug and WMA students. This makes for a versatile, centralized location for students from any of the surrounding towns: Hampden, Ludlow, Palmer, East Longmeadow, Springfield and beyond!

These are the places in Wilbraham I find myself returning to again and again, not just because they’re pretty (they are!), but because they help seniors relax, feel like themselves, and have fun in front of the camera. 

 

Fountain Park-Wilbraham, MA

If you’ve ever driven by Fountain Park, you know exactly why I love shooting here. The fields glow, the trees filter the light just right, and the rustic barn adds a little texture that makes portraits feel warm and natural.

I’ve had seniors from all over Western Mass show up a little nervous, and within minutes they’re laughing, walking through the tall grass, and forgetting the camera is even there. It’s that kind of place: easy, open, and full of soft, flattering light.

Perfect for seniors who: love nature, want a relaxed vibe, or want a mix of casual and dressy looks.

Bruuer Pond-Wilbraham, MA

Bruuer Pond is one of Wilbraham’s hidden gems, and I love bringing seniors here who want tons of New England charm. Despite its name, this location is not all about water. There are beautiful rock walls, a wooded bridge, and stunning white birch trees that make for the perfect senior portrait backdrop. Bruuer Pond packs a lot into a small area and this makes it ideal for both mini sessions and full sessions alike. 

The light in the evening makes this spot the perfect location for later afternoon sessions all year round! 

The Corner Studio-Wilbraham, MA

If you're looking for studio senior portraits, The Corner Studio in Wilbraham is the place to be! We don't have to worry about rain or snow inside and if the weather IS nice, we can venture out onto the historic front steps or ground surrounding the building. 

The Corner Studio has multiple background options including endless backdrop colors, a natural brick wall, barn wood, and window seats. The tall ceilings and large windows allow for tons of natural light, regardless of the weather outside. You can also be a part of local Wilbraham history as this is the oldest brick commercial building in town!
