Spring is a season of new beginnings, and for one sweet couple, it marked the start of their journey towards forever. Their engagement session at Grandmother's Garden in Westfield, MA was nothing short of enchanting. We had been dodging the rain for days, and hoped that this final reschedule would bring a dry morning. It did not disappoint with the sun making an appearance by the end of our session.
Spring is one of my favorite seasons for engagement sessions and Grandmother's Garden makes for the perfect location! A beloved local park since 1934, it features a gazebo, endless flower beds, a wishing well, and herb garden.
This sweet couple was a bit nervous at first. As someone who is behind the camera constantly, I can tell you that getting in front of it is far more challenging! By the end of the session, their natural connection took over. Their laughter came more freely, their gestures more familiar. What started as a carefully planned shoot became something much simpler: two people enjoying a quiet morning together, soaking in the start of something new.
